Teen In Person Classroom
Ideal for students and parents who prefer structured, face-to-face learning with instructor support.
This course is designed for students ages 15–17. Students who are 18 years old may also attend.
Course Includes:

24 hours of in-person classroom instruction

Classes meet Monday through Thursday for 3 weeks

Class time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Required permit certificate after successful course completion

14 hours of state-required behind-the-wheel training

Behind-the-wheel training includes 7 hours of driving and 7 hours of observation
Students will learn Texas traffic laws, road signs, defensive driving, safe driving habits, and the responsibilities that come with becoming a licensed driver.

Teen Full Online Course or Parent Taught
Great for teens who need a flexible, self-paced option that can fit around school, activities, and family schedules. The online classroom portion is powered by Improv Learning and may be completed from anywhere in Texas.
This course is designed for students ages 15–17.

State-required permit certificate issued after successful completion

Students may complete the classroom portion online and then schedule their required driving and observation sessions with Right Turn Driving Academy.

Teen Driving Only
Already have a learner’s permit? Coming from a parent-taught program, an online course, or another driving school? We’ve got you covered.
This program is designed for teens who have already completed their classroom instruction and only need to finish the state-required behind-the-wheel portion before moving closer to their driver’s license.
What’s Included:

Real-world driving practice focused on confidence, awareness, and safety

Practice with turns, lane changes, intersections, parking, traffic situations, and defensive driving skills

Flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend availability

Online student portal for scheduling driving sessions
Students must have a valid Texas learner’s permit before scheduling their first driving session.

Adult Drivers Ed Course
Designed for first-time adult drivers ages 18 and older who are ready to begin the Texas licensing process.
This state-approved course provides the required driver education adults need before applying for their learner license or driver license. It is a convenient option for Texas residents looking to complete the requirement around their schedule.

6-hour Texas state-approved adult driver education course

Covers Texas traffic laws, road signs, defensive driving, and safe driving practices

Includes the required written knowledge exam

Completion certificate issued after successfully finishing the course

Available to adult students throughout Texas
Use your completion certificate along with the required identification documents when applying at the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Personalized, one-on-one driving instruction built around your comfort level, experience, and goals.
This program is ideal for first-time drivers, adults returning to driving after time away, or anyone who wants additional practice before taking the road test. Each lesson is customized to help you build confidence and develop safe, real-world driving skills.

Third Party Road Test
Right Turn Driving Academy is currently in the process of gaining approval to offer Third-Party Skills Testing.
Once approved, eligible students will be able to complete their road test directly through our school. Additional details will be shared as soon as this service becomes available.
